Approaches for Improving High School Graduation Rates of Students with Disabilities in CA, FL, NC, and TX

The Georgia Department of Education is working to identify states that improved their graduation rate over time. They have identified a total of eight states that they are interested in researching based upon a report shared with them by SREB: Maryland, Delaware, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, California, and Kentucky. They are now interested in the specific strategies that these states have utilized when working with students with disabilities. Specifically in CA, NC, FL and TX (November) and MD, DEL, TN, KY (December).

Report Summary
A number of states are implementing strategies for improving high school graduation rates of students with disabilities. This report takes a closer look at such efforts in the states of California, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas.
