Closing Consistently Low-Performing Charter Schools

The client wants to know what research or information is available to assist SCDE with consistently low-performing charter schools. The questions posed are as follows: (a) How can SCDE close low-performing charter schools? When should they be closed if they are low-performing? (b) How should the MOA/MOU/contract/application be written to close low-performing charter schools? (c) What processes have been used by other agencies/districts to close ineffective or low-performing charter schools? 

Report Summary
